Usage recommendations for probe Borussertib and control RL2578

In cells

Use at a concentration of 1 µM. Depending on the usage it might be tested up to a concentration of 10 µM.

We recommend to use the AKT1/2 inhibitor BAY1125976 also available from SGC for control experiments.

Use the recommended concentration to avoid off-target toxicity and/or off-target activity. Using concentrations that are higher than recommended could lead to false positive or confounding results.

In vivo

Tested in mice with 2 mg/kg i.v., 20 mg/kg oral gavage and 20 mg/kg, i.p..
Borussertib displays antitumor activity in combination with the MAP2K1 inhibitor trametinib in patient derived xenograft models.
