Usage recommendations for probe 8RK64 and control JYQ88

In cells

Use at a concentration up to 3 µM. Note: The fluorescent version of 8RK64 named 8RK59 that is slightly less potent in vitro (IC50 ≈ 1 µM) can be used to label UCHL1 activity in HEK293T, A549, MDA‐MB‐436 and SKBR7 cells.

Use the recommended concentration to avoid off-target toxicity and/or off-target activity. Using concentrations that are higher than recommended could lead to false positive or confounding results.

In vivo

The fluorescent probe 8RK59 was tested in vivo in zebrafish embryos at 5 µM.
