Usage recommendations for probe JNJ-6204 and control JNJ-0293

In cells

Use at concentration up to 1 µM.

We recommend to use the dual CSNK1D, CSNK1E inhibitor MU1742 also available from SGC for control experiments. Use within recommended dosage limits.

Use the recommended concentration to avoid off-target toxicity and/or off-target activity. Using concentrations that are higher than recommended could lead to false positive or confounding results.

In vivo

Tested in mice for in vivo effects on circadian rhythms by using a wheel running assay with 30 mg/kg (SC) daily. A phase delay of 1.25 h following 10 days of dosing was found. Shows good brain exposure in mice, good bioavailability.
